Welcome Toby!

We are now a family of four! Our sweet little boy, Toby Alexander Rowland was born March 31, 2011 at 2139. He was 8 lbs 1oz and 21 inches. He is truly a gift from God and we couldn't love him more!

Grandpa & Grandma Rowland, Aunt Janna, & Cousins Carter & Logan took a trip in the motorhome to Texas to visit us. Here are some pictures of their time here - including playing at the pool, glow-in-the-dark putt-putt and a trip to the Fort Worth Stockyards. Ian was so sad when they left! He stood pointing out the front window for almost an hour after they took off!

We are so blessed by the family that we have - and we learn to appreciate it even more as we have gotten older and have a son of our own!

Here are some photos of the family while we were in Alabama for Cousin Karen's Wedding. Ian just adores his cousins Carter (4) and Logan (1)! Fun activities included playing in the sprinkler, gardening with Grandma and picking blueberries. Sometimes it's hard to tell the difference between Ian & Logan in these pictures - Ian has more hair. : ) If you're interested in seeing photos of the King-Croxell wedding, just send us an e-mail!

Fort Worth Stockyards

We recently took an afternoon to visit the Fort Worth Stockyards. We had a wonderful time exploring the streets and the local shops. We had a fabulous steak lunch and enjoyed watching the cattle drive down Exchange Parkway . There are lots of museums and restaurants that we would like to visit on our next trip. Ian loved the cows and even got his own cowboy hat.

Memorial Day

We finally got a grill! Ian tried to help Jeremy put it together. We had a picnic on Memorial Day and we grilled tons of meat - hotdogs, hamburgers, ribs, sausages. Jeremy is a natural at the grill - everything was perfect. Ian's favorite was the ribs.
