Starting Out 2008

I finally got some new stuff on here! Here are some photos to get you caught up with life here in our household. As of the end of January, Jeremy is no longer working at Corgan. He has started his own photography business -
J.P. Rowland Photography and Fine Art. Check out his website at http://www.jprowland.com. I am now working night shifts at Presbyterian Hospital of Allen. The location is ideal - only about 6 miles away. I'm especially thankful for the short commute when I'm driving home after a 12 hr. shift! Jeremy stays home with Ian during the days so I can sleep. We have learned some valuable lessons about God's provision. The new employment arrangement allows us so much more time together as a family.

Christmas in Vermont - 2007

We had a great time visiting family in Vermont last week. We saw a little snow - at least Ian was able to experience it. Enjoy the photos!

Papa Frank's - Yum!

We had dinner at Papa Frank's while the grandparents watched Ian.

Here are some photos from Christmas morning - Ian really enjoyed pulling the tissue paper out of the bags. Tonight, Bill & Sharon took us to a Hibachi grill for dinner. Ian was a little frightened of the fire, but loved watching the chef in his bright red hat. Then we went for ice cream - I got eggnog flavored and it was great!

Today we all went to church and then celebrated Christmas with the Harrison side of the family. Ian got some really fun toys, but was a little overwhelmed with the number of people. He took a long nap when everyone left!

In Alabama for Christmas

Jeremy, Ian & I arrived here in Alabama yesterday to spend time with the Rowland side of the family. Not only does Ian get to see his grandparents, but also his cousins, aunts, uncles and great-grandmother. He is really enjoying being with Jeremy's sister Janna's boys - Carter(3 yr)and Logan(6 mos).

Ian loved story time with Grandma tonight!
