Almost 3 Weeks Old

Hi Everyone,

Just wanted to let you know that we are all doing well here - our first week at home on our own. Ian is still gaining weight very slowly so we've been seeing the pediatrician every few days. It's kept us busy, but overall he's quite healthy. More pictures to come as Jeremy has time to post them. Hope you are all doing well.

We were able to make our first long trip with Ian at just 9 days old to see Jeremy's family near Mobile, Alabama. Ian was wonderful the entire trip. I think he really likes moving in the car - takes after his Daddy!

Here are some pictures of Ian's first bath. He wasn't so sure he liked it in the beginning, but by the end he seemed to be enjoying it.

Ian Elliott Has Arrived!

We are so happy to announce the birth of our son - Ian Elliott Rowland! He was born on April 7th at 9:30 am. Thankfully he decided not to wait until his original due date of April 12th. He weighed in at 8 lbs. 7 oz. and was 20 inches long. The delivery went very smoothly for both mom and baby, and dad was right there in the middle of it all. The name Ian means 'God is gracious' and that is truly how we feel being given the blessing of this little one in our lives.

Expectant Mom

This is the latest picture of me as an expectant mother. It was taken several weeks ago. I'm quite a bit bigger now as I am less than a week away from my due date!
