A house full of boys!
Guess what I did? I volunteered our house for a host home for a teen discipleship weekend sponsored by our church. That means that right now there are 9 seventh grade boys running around my house and yard! They have been pretty well-behaved so far. They arrived tonight about 6:00 and will be staying here until time for church on Sunday morning. As I'm writing this, I hear a discussion in the back yard about what would be the best thing to throw on the roof. Fortunately, they also came with an adult leader who is very closely supervising them.
Ian is getting so big!
Ian has gotten so big! He is now walking while holding onto the couch and pulling himself up to a standing position. He says Mama on a regular basis - though I'm not sure that he knows he's saying my name. He has the waving thing down about half the time and he has started giving very sweet and slobbery kisses.
Here are some photos of our little Ian taken in the last month. Apparently I need to change the way I download photos in order for you to be able to view them the right way. I tried to fix these, but I couldn't quite figure it out. So here they are sideways! If you want to see more photos - and in the correct direction, you can view my Facebook profile. If you don't have a facebook page yet, go to www.facebook.com and search for me under Stacey Bell Rowland.

Long time - I know!
I know it's been a really long time since I posted here. I have neglected this page, but have tried to keep in touch with everyone via e-mail. I am also posting pictures on my facebook page. We are now in our home in McKinney, Texas. Jeremy is working as an animator at Corgan Assoc. in downtown Dallas. I am still at home with Ian and loving every minute of it. He is almost 7 months old and has grown so much. He is now crawling and as of today has decided that he doesn't want pureed foods anymore. He ate chunks of banana at dinner. Again my server is having issues so I can't get photos on here. But I'll try again soon!

In Dallas!
Hello Everyone!
Sorry it's been a while since I posted last but we've been very busy. We are no longer in Savannah - we have moved to Dallas as of yesterday. We packed up our belongings on the 26th of last month and then traveled to Jeremy's parent's home near Mobile, Alabama. We dropped off most of our belongings for storage in their barn and were able to enjoy some rest and relaxation for a few days. We then made it into Dallas on June 3rd. We are currently staying in a tiny studio apartment while we are looking for permanent housing. We spent all day shopping around for homes. It's tiring but also very exciting. Jeremy will start work with Corgan Assoc. - an architectural firm on the 11th. He will be doing animation work on things like commercials and
e-cards. It seems the job will be a good fit for him.
Ian is doing well - a little tired from all the traveling but still a little sweetheart. He's growing quickly and has some chubby little thighs! He is becoming more alert and aware of his surroundings every day. And we just love watching him smile and laugh at us! Mika(our cat) is here with us too and seems to be doing fine in her new temporary home.
I apologize that no pictures are accompanying this entry but we've had some trouble with the we-fi here and we haven't figured out which bad contains the card reader. We will be busy looking at more homes and talking with mortgage brookers over the next few days but will get pictures up as soon as possible.
For those of you who know my sister Allison, she and her husband Tim just had a baby girl yesterday - Elizabeth Joy Hartman. She was 7 lbs 4 oz and was 19 inches long. God blessed her and her mother with a safe delivery.
Well, that's all for now because I'm dozing off as I write this!

Blue guard dog
Here are some recent pictures of Ian. He gave us his first real smile on the 9th and has continued to smile and coo more each day. He is such a joy! He's was up to 8 lbs. 9oz. and 22 inches as of his one month checkup on the 7th. He's keeping us busy as we are also trying to get packed up for our move at the end of the month. We're not positive yet where we're headed. We'll keep you posted!
